Owie Ear
Wilbur has what's probably a spider bite on his right ear. It's hanging down oddly, which turns out to be due to a bubble of fluid the size of a marshmallow.
He doesn't want to let anyone mess with it beyond a gentle prodding, but is willing to discuss it. He doesn't usually like to talk about owies. I asked him if his ear hurts a little. He said yeah. I asked him if it hurt a lot and he said no. I asked him if we should go to the doctor to fix it and he said maybe. He's listening closely to humans talking about the state of his ear and what should be done.
He just faked out Banzai on "get yer butt". He hobbled stiffly out the door to the yard, so Banzai didn't think he'd need to move very fast. Then Wilbur put on a little burst of speed and missed nipping Banzai's butt by a vey small margin. Banzai was very surprised and had to step up his game in a hurry.
