Gay marriage - cheap at twice the price
I'm not the biggest fan of marriage per se, hetero or otherwise, but I'm pro choice and a pragmatist to an unromantic fault. The arguments conservatives keep coming up with against gay marriage are always emotion-based and completely lacking in logic. This fantastic Keith Olberman piece (found via lantoniou 's LJ)beautifully underscores the absolute stupidity of some of the conservative arguments against.
Some of the YouTube comments are bafflingly inane, like this completely-missing-the-point person:
"You people are true idiots if you actually listen to this abysmal liar. For this intellectually deluded jerk, to suggest that gay marriage has anything to do with economic recovery- when Obama is incorporating every single policy imaginable to prolong the current recession."
