The look he gave me!

Banzai just got Iams mini chunks in his bowl instead of the big chunks.  Wilbur got the last of the bag of big chunks, and I opened up a fresh bag for the Bonzerator.  He was all, Food yes yes food yes!  as I poured some in from a fresh, new bag.  Food yes yes!  Then he looked closer.  Um... something's wrong with my, uh... food.  It's weird.    Yep.  Suck it up, buttercup.  Life is full of these little shocks.  And he probably killed the backup remote that turns the TV on and off and controls volume, but we won't know for sure because he's hidden the body.  It's neither under anyplace we've looked, nor behind anyplace we've looked.

They got an almost-empty jar of peanut butter today.  I don't know how they did it, but they actually got everything out of it.  It is licked completely clean.  I am impressed.  Banzai would've had to fit his head inside it to get the last little bit out of the bottom.  I wish I'd seen that.

I've had a busy weekend.  There was a play party Friday night at the RACK Room, which was nice and thankfully not mobbed.  I was actually glad that only half the people who RSVPd showed up, which is typical.  I wanted there to be enough room for the people who like to play to be able to really play, and we did.  Aaah.  I gave a fire play lesson to the person who'd won our fire play basket at the Vendor Fair auction for Leathermagick.  The bottom for that was hesitant to begin with but ended up falling in love with fire.  I really loved watching the top's face while he was following the flames along her skin with his fingers.  It feels so great when someone gets as excited about one of my own obsessions as I do.  I wouldn't be surprised if he started having his own firegasms before too long.

The landlord was showing the house Saturday afternoon.  Bleh.  We ran into some friends at New Saigon and had a late lunch with them, which was nice.  I found the shrimp crackers - a big bag of them - that Miss Betty turned me on to.   I saw a lady at the Asian market on Alameda and Zuni with a few bags of them in her cart and I went up and down every freakin aisle in that store til I found them.  Good stuff.  We had dinner with friends on Saturday night.  We made roast duck pho that was not great but not terrible, especially since Maggie showed me how to add hoisin sauce and chili paste, which I don't normally do.  We watched Buckaroo Banzai after dinner and ate cookies hot out of the oven.

Today was a board meeting for LeatherMagick, then a birthday party for a damned sexy man (whose wonderful and talented partner served homemade carnitas and fantastic triple-fudge cake with strawberries), then a munch at Netherworld for the TNG group.  A woman in her mid-20s that I thought was 18 told me she's doing a paper on Audrey Lorde.  It does my bitter old heart good to know that young feminists are still studying her.  Audrey Lorde was even a bit before my time.   Then there was supposed to be a session at the dungeon, but that didn't happen.  It's kind of a relief for me that we got a cancellation, but not quite so much for the domme the client had scheduled with.  At least he didn't pull a no-show.  And while I was out doing all that other stuff, a very nice man dropped off a load of boxes for packing.  Whew.

It's weird that Monday tends to be my day of rest.  Not this Monday, but most Mondays.  Tomorrow afternoon I'm showing the space to someone who'd like to display some of his custom-made dungeon furniture at some of the events coming up, and then I'm giving Ana a CBT lesson later in the evening.  I hope I can fit a dog park visit in during the late afternoon.  Banzai hasn't seen his girlfriend in a couple of weeks.  She might forget who he is!                             .
