People and things

Wow! It was so nice to get out on Saturday. I was so happy to see there was a free pass or else we would have been stuck at home in the heat.

I can’t believe how many people were out that I haven’t seen in ages! I realized I miss seeing people. I wish I wasn’t so tired all the time so I could go out more. One of the things I sadly realized when I passed 30 was that the endless night on little or no sleep were A LOT harder to attempt.

I am hoping that now with the heavy event season over at my work I will be able to maybe start going our on Thursdays once in awhile, and if a Saturday night club continuers to be happening I will definitely be able to see and visit with people.

I need to get off my ass and starting being more social. With the whole situation with my Aunt (which she still isn’t doing well, the cancer has spread to her brain as well as what is in her lungs. We still need thoughts and prayers) I was reminded life is indeed short and I shouldn’t waste the time I have not being happy. I don’t want to wake up one day and realize I have a lot of I wishes in my past.

On another note; it is REALLY boring to be at work the day before a holiday when the majority of the world seems to be on vacation. It would have been nice to have at least a half day today. I need to get to the OC tonight to go say goodbye to a high school friend who is moving to Oklahoma later on in the week. At least it will be cooler down there. There is also gas under $3.00 down there. God I miss it. I think I could get used to LA if I was out of Hollywood. I have learned I really hate Hollywood. I live in an apartment that is the temperature of the sun. For some reason it can be cool and nice outside but boiling inside. I left a bottled water out while I was reading and I went back to take a sip a few hours later and the thing was practically warm enough to make hot tea. My make-up and lotions and melting and our food is melting. This is very wrong. It should be so warm in an apartment that it exceeds the temperature recommendation on household products.

Tomorrow we are going to Ojai to visit with Adams mom who is in town and a close family friend of his. We get to do to BBQ thing. I love that town I think it is so cute. I can’t figure out though why a mountain town can get so hot!!

Everybody have a safe and happy 4th!!

Happy Birthday Mom!!
