So I spent Christmas ill in bed...or, when I could drag my sorry behind that far, ill in the TV room.
I am now a connoisseur of Christmas telly.
Many of my favourite shows were missing from the festive season, however. "Being Human" being one of them. An absolutely brilliant BBC show, which is billed as a comedy, but is much more than that. It is difficult to explain it so that it doesn't sound completely trippy. But basically a vampire, werewolf and ghost live in the house the ghost died in and have all sorts of supernatural/human experiences. It's interesting because the non-human nature in the characters is such a strong driving force, but at the same time could be mirrored in human quirks. Feeling invisible, anger issues, anxiety etc. Luckily there is a second series back on TV tonight. :)
And tomorrow a double bill for the British series premiere of GLEE. Which I have, of course, already seen every moment of already, but will still be watching on the big non-megavideo screen in my living room.
The news of auditions for series two is confirmation they have to go ahead for more episodes...there is also confirmation via JB that Torchwood will be back for a long series soon in some format or another..in space anyone? With Alonso? :D
