Tack & Jibe

I'm a dork, but, I think that one of the things I love most about a new skill is learning a whole new vocabulary. We went out sailing on a friend's boat the other day. He gave us our first bit of instruction. We were having a nice, lazy, sail, so, we only put the jib up and practiced jibing (basically, switching the sail from side to side so you zig-zag forward).

We have a new motor coming for our boat today (found a deal) and hopefully will go out this weekend.
