*blearily* Let me recount my morning.
I wrote the check the gas company requested so they wouldn't turn off our hot water. I thought I'd just paid a bill, but my memory sucks. Slipped it in the envelope, sealed it and stamped it.
When I went outside to put it in the mailbox for pickup I found my last two checks to the gas company, still sitting in the mailbox from last month.
