So sad...
I am saddened at the fact that Woodsmoke has been released. This marks an end to something that was such a blessing to all of us who found her and read her.
The silver lining to it all is that we will forever have her words of wisdom and beauty to look back on time and time again. And who knows, maybe her advisers will sneak up on her and tell her there is one more book she is to write after all. :) Wouldn't that be a pleasant surprise? At least for us ;)
My mom bought me my copy of Woodsmoke for Christmas and I've yet to even open the cover. I just can't bring myself to read it... to me it would just be so... final...
Someday soon I know I'll crack it open and settle in with one of my Native American CDs playing and my Cedar incense burning... and be entirely thankful for such a wonderful soul to have even touched my life.
