Dan's foot/feet have been getting progressively worse (I suspect it's because his weight is not getting any better), so standing on his feet all day isn't working out for him. Not to mention he's not getting a job in ANYTHING, even seasonal work, so a new spin on the career thing is in the works. And it's paid for, mostly, so whatever. Just whatever, at this point.
I was nervous about teaching high school AP Language Arts, but I was enjoying it for the most part, right up until my cell phone disappeared off of my desk and security had to get involved. Add to that the dipshit that stuck a paperclip "insulated" by wrapping it in electrical tape into an outlet at the back of the room, at pretty much the exact instant I was about to turn on the lights after a peaceful little video I showed.... Ugh! Little fuckers. (Am I allowed to say that???) I'm mostly pissed about having to rebuild my electronic phone book from scratch and having to replace my phone, memory card, SIM card, case, and not being able to replace any of the gadzillion photos of J, etc., and ALL of my personal info on it (calendars, etc). Teacher says grrrrr.
J's daycare situ is fine. It's working out fine schedule-wise, but there are plenty of issues for us to discuss in person.
Thanks for the Anniversary wishes. I have a nice surprise for Dan, but need to find a sitter ASAP for next Friday night. I suspect it will end up being his parents that get elected for that duty.
A weeknight after Thanksgiving is just great with me, though it's hard for me to know when, where & what hours I might be working from day to day. Such is the way of an on-call position. So let's just choose a date or three and go for as many as we can hit. Mkay?
