Why do I have such a sweet tooth?
It's getting to be a problem. But is it really?
Oh, how I love ...
... that death by chocolate cake. It's always tempting you. And it seems so incredibly and perfectly delicious. But you've only had just a taste. Is it really all that great? But does it matter? It still seems just as succulent. And oh so naughty.
... caramel. Just straight. Sugar. Through and through. So tender on the lips, you can't resist. It can create quite a sticky mess though. And sometimes it holds on just a bit too long.
... muffins! Sometimes you're just .... in that mood. So wholesome and ... almost innocent. Yet still just as desirable as the next sweet thing.
... those creamy, frosting mushrooms from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Who cares if they're not real? They still must taste just that good.
... even your protein bar. Yeah, it's sweet and yummy, but sometimes it has the weird after-taste. And honestly? Sometimes, it's just not worth the calories. And you know you'll feel guilty for settling for less .... healthy alternatives ..... but not that guilty.
... chocolate kisses. It's just that classic shape ... the hunk that you can just bite into. Sure, everybody else wants it, but you want it for yourself too. Just a kiss, right?
... peanut butter cookies. Just ... because. Because they're sweet, but they're QuirKy too. Not for all the time, but when they're sitting next to you, you know they've got to taste damn good.
... birthday cake. And you know it wants you too. It calls out to you. But that icing can just get plain disgusting. Sugar gone wrong. Very wrong. Yet you can't refuse birthday cake when it's right in front of you. Maybe just steer clear of the frosting. Then again ... what's cake without the frosting?
... candy. It's candy, what more is there to say? It's sweeeet, sometimes sour, it can go anywhere it wants. The classic kiddie craving. Just makes you smile :) Even laugh. But you still want it .... bad. Oh, sweet intoxication ...
... ice cream. Ice cream. When nothing else works out, ice cream. Just ice cream.
