1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
Had a Facebook Account.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I did, actually. One, that I actually managed to keep. And I will likely make another one for the upcoming year.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My sister gave birth to her daughter, Darcy.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.
5. What countries did you visit?
Physically, none. Via the internet and my imagination, many!!
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
A little more free time.
7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
February 3rd, trying to take Steven back to the airport in a blizzard. We made it just a few miles and then turned around and came home. He wanted to see snow when he came out, I told him it would be here, and I was right! ;) I think he’s had enough snow for a couple years now.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Growing a garden. Getting a fence up around our back yard (I helped!).
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not accomplishing my writing goals for this year. I barely found time to scratch the surface and I need to do better.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Just the standard illnesses. (Thankfully H1N1-free in my house!)
11. What was the best thing you bought?
There were several good purchases this year! Ian’s bunk bed ranks up there. As do the new stove, washing machine and water heater. And the investment into new plumbing in the kitchen and bathroom!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Chris, who got involved in some things he didn’t want to be involved in, in order to help my family, worked his butt off this year, and got accepted to a computer forensics school that isn’t for just anyone.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Jamie, my soon to be former brother-in-law.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Bills, groceries, my kids.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
First Friday night game nights with friends! A couple new games played.
16. What song will always remind you of 2009?
Lady Gaga - Poker Face
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? happier

Writing, but I did what I could with what free time I had, I suppose.

Worry and stress.

No notable discoveries this year, just enjoyed new stuff from some old favorites.
