Making progress....slowly but surely

My baby cardigan is almost finished.  I have it all knit, sewn up, etc.  Now all I need to do is add the buttons once I get some thread!  Overall, it looks great for being a first project.  It's not flawless, but I am very, very proud of it and very thankful for all of Anne's help.  I got her a bag of diabetic candy for Valentine's Day as a thank you for all of her guidance.

I got a really cute knitting book, Itty Bitty Hats by Susan B. Anderson yesterday!  and what's even better, I got two for the price of one!  hahaha  I ordered the book online and the company sent me two of the same book??? hilarious.  I checked my checking account to make sure they didn't charge me for both books and they didn't.  Oh well.  I'm sure one will be an awesome gift for a fellow knitter in the future :)  The hats it in are adorable!

Aldi is having a sale on yarn tomorrow morning and I'm super excited about it!  hahaha I'm lame.  A yarn shop in Limerick City (Lena's) was closed due to flood damage for weeks and are finally reopening on Friday.  My excitement about their reopening is sad as well lol.

Has anyone used St. John's Wart, out of curiosity?

Has anyone read The Origin of the Species x Darwin?  Thoughts?

I have more reading to do tonite.  I meet with the head of my department tomorrow to discuss my research ideas and find out who my supervisor is.... I'm so nervous!
