the days continue on

Graham is another month older.  It's amazing to me really.  I swear, the more children you have, the quicker the times goes!  Anthony and I weighed and measured the Graham baby.  We double checked both bc we can't believe how much he's grown in two months!  Graham now weighs 14.4 lbs and is 25 inches long!  Maybe my big baby boy will grow up and play rugby like Anthony hopes!  I took several pictures on the 27th bc I like to document things on the actual day.  I was hoping to update on the actual day but I ended up catching the flu from Niamh + William, which I'm still recovering from.  Other baby developments- Graham is the most smiley baby I have had.  He's always looking to interact with me, Anthony or his siblings!  He follows me around the room often and his head/neck control is awesome!  I took Graham to my osteopath for an appointment and she was really impressed.  She did notice the plates of his skull needed some adjustments, like craniosacral therapy, so she did that.  The molding on his head has already adjusted since that appointment.  Graham is such a joy to have.  He's a happy baby, enjoys being in my arms, bedshares with Anthony and I without issue and he's very portable.  He's been to Cork with me for a Doula training, we go into town once a week and we recently started a baby reflexology class.  He loves it!  For over an hour he lays sweetly on the floor while I learn the new reflexology points and practice them on him.  I also enjoy learning the reflexology bc I can teach Anthony and it can be a comfort measure he can use once I do more events for work.

The biggest baby issue we have is Graham fighting sleep.  He becomes overtired and it's normal for William to wake him up repeatedly bc he's a very loud toddler.  Once Graham becomes overtired he will fight sleep and get super cranky.  Thankfully I've been able to bring him upstairs where it's more quiet for some much- needed rest.  We are definitely getting more into a routine with our little guy!

Other non baby news:  I've now gotten a total of five placenta encapsulation clients.  For every four enquiries I generally get one to book.  I did a placenta encapsulation training in Ireland to become certified and learn all the safety procedures including infection control, etc.  The only trainer for the organization in Ireland is named Lisa.  Shortly after the training I attended, it was like she snapped.  She became super territorial and started messaging other trained specialists.  She demanded they remove content from their social media business pages bc it was too much like hers.  She also booked ALL the local baby fairs and got other specialists blocked out for the remainder of the year.  I created a fb graphic describing how I personally pick up the woman's placenta from home or hospital before turning it into pills.  Lisa, on the other hand, often uses a courier, which I think is really impersonal and can lead to a multitude of issues.  Essentially she has some stranger delivering placentas to her.  How is this guy trained?  He's not.  Does he record the temperature?  How many placentas does he pick up on any given day?  How is the family's confidentiality kept?- it's not.

Anyway, I made a graphic stating I collect the placenta and this ensures safety.  I did not mention Lisa at all but of course she saw my graphic as a personal attack.  It wasn't an attack, it's good marketing.  I'm choosing the things that make my service UNIQUE and highlighting that.  It's called good business practice.  She blocked me from Facebook, like a child.  She has since left the training organization, so she's no longer providing training.  She unfriended all the other people she has trained on facebook and has generally started acting like a real bitch.  I know I shouldn't care but Ireland is a small country and rumours travel fast.  I'm hoping the drama is over now.

The weather in Ireland has been crazy since Graham was born.  January was so gray and had more wind and rain than I've ever seen.  February has been so cold and now this crazy Siberian borne storm.  I've personally never seen this much snow in Ireland!
