Tis the season to be over...
Today is that sad day when one must put away the treasured Christmas gifts and take down the tree. Sad, sad day. Even though I wasn’t really into the Christmas season as I typically am, I am saddened by the removal of the tree. It was a beautiful tree and many nights I sat in the darkened room with its twinkling lights. I will listen one last time to a few favorite Christmas songs and then I will put the CD away until next year when the day after Thanksgiving arrives.
