A Lost Blog-osphere - checking in to the vast wasteland that is my friends' page
No one really writes here anymore. I wish I wrote here more...and I think of things I want to write, things I want to get out of my head, on a daily basis, but I never put them down. Yes, I have become too lazy even for the Lazy Woman's Memoir.
Last week was the worst week back from a wonderful vacation. Work was terrible and this week is bound to be only worse...so if you are reading this and you have a job prospect for me...contact me ASAP. I'm desperate at this point.
Finished the last Potter today. Feel odd about it. Enjoyed the ending but feel...strange I guess, that there was resolution. Nothing more to look forward to in Harry's life. Bravo Rowling, you did a fine job.
Things I hate about being a boss:
1. When someone says, "Can I talk to you?" This statement pretty much never leads to a good conversation. This statement almost always leads to a discussion that increases my stress level.
Where is this entry going? Not so sure.
Read today in Self magazine that people who say no to hanging out with friends when they are in a funk are doing themselves a diservice and only making themselves more depressed. Not really rocket science...BUT is something I do ALL THE TIME. With that said, I need to be better about socialization. ugh.
I'm over that already.
Ok, so this was pointless and boring and didn't contain any of the witty, interesting things I intend to write when I instead have been reading Potter and going to bed early. Oh well. Maybe next time.
