Elizabeth Hasselback is 30 today.  Um..so what?!

Who's been following the drama of The View?  I saw the fight.  Of course I think that Elizabeth was acting like a baby, but I also think Rosie doesn't leave well enough alone.  Is it worth her breath to engage that idiot in that kind of debate?  See, I'd be bad on that show because I wouldn't have even have bothered to justify Elizabeth with even acknowledging that she's on the show...much like Alicia Silverstone did moments after the fight (you go girl!).  her diss of Elizabeth might have been her best performance since The Crush.  Brava you little vegan beauty, bra-vo!

So if you watched the PREVIOUSLY RECORDED episode which aired today (and they kept repeating the fact that it was previously recorded) Rosie gave Elizabeth her birthday present...a week in her Miami home.  Rosie made it clear she would not be there and it was so Lizzie and her man and kid could have a nice vaca...but I'm doubting the offer still stands.  Too bad Elizabeth...you might have been tainted with lesbian paraphernalia had ya gone there anyway...I mean there might have been a rainbow wind catcher...or worst yet one of those blasted bumper stickers that says, "Hate is not a family value."

But I am sad that Rosie is running away...and she is kind of running away isn't she?  I mean she doesn't need that shit, she sure doesn't need the money...but I can't help but feel that Elizabeth will be smiling in her dressing room tomorrow thinking..."I won."

Dear Barbara Walters,
When you need someone to wipe that smug, right-wing, pompous smile off Elizabeth's face, please look no further than right here!
Sincerely,
Ms Parker

In other news...I saw Pirates!  It's about time...it's been out since thursday night.  I enjoyed it and I don't care what anyone else says...I love me that Captain Jack Sparrow and he makes me smile enough to make it through any of the parts of the movie I didn't fully understand.

Also finally saw Little Children.  Wow, that was a lot of sex for Kate (cast to play the fat unattractive one) Winslet.  See it, it's one of those "smart movies."

...or better yet...read the book.
