Finally the day has come

I have some good news to report in here. Last week was my grampa's 93rd birthday. He's still in Hospice but he's doing A LOT better. We're looking to move him to a nursing home on the Lake, which he'll love cause he has sailed every body of water on earth and that's probably where I get my love for all things marine. I know it sounds weird to be happy about a nursing home but rehabilitation is not offered in Hospice and the old man is actually BORED in there. This is all a very good sign. Besides, he likes the idea of having all kinds of other people to talk to and all that. He's so completely alone in the place he's in now. It's so strange because he's off all of his medications that were supposedly keeping him alive and he's doing superbly. We had a party for him and about 20 people showed up. He got all choked up and he had a really good time. These things make my life blessed.

Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers. It worked.

Also, thanks to Damian and Scooter as usual for coming to our show at the Hi Fi. It turned out to be free and that was good. Thanks for being there. It means a lot to us.
