triplet update

Apr 04, 2008 20:28

I learned this week not to take it for granted when things are going smoothly.  I have been feeling better and was a little more active in the past week.  I cleaned some clothes out of a closet this weekend, and did a few other things to get ready for babies and for us to move this fall.  On Monday night, I woke up bleeding everywhere.  An ultrasound showed that everyone is okay, but I had a blood clot and earned myself 3 days of bedrest.  Evidently Baby A enjoys using his/her placenta as a trampoline.  We were so relieved to see all three babies moving and to know the heartbeats are perfectly normal: 160, 158 and 155.

I am 15 weeks, 3 days pregnant now...almost halfway to the average length of a triplet pregnancy!  We are seeing a specialist in the next week or two, and are excited about finding out the sexes at that time.

Baby A, lying on his/her back...the two white spots on the left are feet.

Baby B, facing down (head on the left)

Baby C, facing down

I'm not biased at all, but I think they're already pretty adorable.
