I haven't been on livejournal in so long. I'm quite obsessed with myspace, and the majority of my friends are on that now anyway. Oh well...I can't just abandon tradition, so here I am, still updating the livejournal that I've had since August of 2001. Thanks to Michelle, this thing has been a big part of my life for four years. There's rarely a day that goes by that I don't check my friends page to see what everyone is up to. I might not update everyday, but I'm still watching you!
Anyway, I leave for Italy in four days. Sunday, June 5th. I'm scared out of my wits at what's to come. A fear of the unknown that I've always had. But luckily I've emerged from my shell quite a bit since the time I was little and was too afraid to go up to the counter at McDonald's and ask for an extra straw. I even made my first international call today. Hopefully the charge on my cell phone won't be too bad. But I booked a room for Kim and me to stay at Lake Como during our second free weekend in Italy. I'm so proud of us. We're making our own weekend trip in a foreign country, without the help of a travel agent. The agent that booked the group acctually told us that if something didn't go wrong during our trip then we'd have to keep coming back until something did, because it's not a worthwhile experience if something doesnt go wrong....something like that.
so yeah. Now it's late. and I have a sexy man sitting next to me. Nuf said.
