7 years ago, I was that kid in the Dream Theater shirt twitchywrote February 22 2006, 20:12:50 UTC
No, wait, let’s not move apart, let’s all move away together, to an island nation, and forget about what we knew here, except for the parts that are good to remember, which is all of it. Let’s make a lot of plans we’ll never follow through with, not because we don’t want to, but because we don’t have the means. Let’s not care, let’s dream big anyway.

This was the best ending to something I'd read in about forever.
Thanks.

...does anyone still call jail "the pokey"?

Because that's a terrible name for it.

So did you ever watch the American dub of the DBZ Trunks Special. :-D

Why in the hell would I watch that, I'm not 14 anymore. I did watch a lot of that shit when I was 14, though. I hate guys that wear the shirts. There was this fat kid at my high school named Travis who wore DragonBall Z shirts all the time and one day someone knocked him down on his face and it broke his glasses and it cut open his face. Everyone in my literature class thought it was awful, but I secretly thought he deserved it for being a fat, bad-anime loving douche.

I only asked because it has Dream Theater songs in it, in the worst parts.
Which are actually most of them.

The movies, maybe 5 of them, still entertain me.

Do you wany my glasses to break, or can't you tell me because it's gotta be secret? :-D

I remember one day they played 3 of em back-to-back-to-back on Cartoon Network and I recorded that shit. I wonder if I still have that tape, it'd probably be fun to watch, just so I could remember how stupid I was (and realize how stupid I still am, albeit in different ways).

I did that, too. I know my tape's around here someplace, because I don't lose anything unless I really enjoy it.

I also still have stuff around my house that makes me remember how stupid I am. I won't say what.
But I'm not going to apologize for what I once enjoyed, unless a loved one is at stake. :)

I don't have any problem admitting to most things that I used to really enjoy but don't anymore, because I was young and stupid. I will probably feel the same way in five years about a lot of the stuff I like now, and I'm okay with that.

What do you think you'll love always, or at least for an indeterminable amount of time? :)

Likely anything on that FYC app of mine, probably a lot of this bubblegum pop, Sergio Leone's movies, MILF porn, etc.

I din't know you liked MILF porn twitchywrote February 22 2006, 20:54:04 UTC
I've never seen anything by Sergio Leone. You kids watch more movies than I do.

Wow, yeah, I saw you and old_danube apply there a day or so ago.
I asked myself why, but only in passing. :)

yeah im not too proud of it msnvwls February 22 2006, 21:00:03 UTC
I figured you had. I see it as a chance to talk music with a bunch of people I wouldn't anywhere else, which is a good thing, of course. I want more people to apply, too, because that's always fun, but the rating communities thing is so slow right now. Oh well, even if no one ever applies and the place just kinda sits there, at least there's the opportunity.

You should definitely see some Sergio Leone. You've never even seen The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly?

movies that are mostly brown don't screw with our digestive systems.

I should, but they're so hard for me to get into...I should start with that one? :)

I could take a rec from you on how to dry clothes, for serious. Consider them a rental my first chance. :)
