My Zombies are Way Better...

Reiko came over yesterday. She was going to spend the night and give me my birthday present. I called her when I got home yesterday, and she said she was hungry. I told her I didn’t have any food and asked if she had any money. She said she had planned to take me to Zen as a Birthday treat. She ordered the rainbow roll (raw, ew) and I ordered the Tempura rolls (which, I gotta remember next time to tell them not to put eel sauce on the thing -..-). It was awesome. Then we went over to Victoria’s Secret in the mall, because she wanted to look at lingerie. After agreeing that the mall was too full of stupid gangster-wannabes and sluts, we came back to my place and watched movies.

I think...It was actually closer to 1 in the morning when I finally got to sleep. We didn’t get up till...it was around 8:55 this morning. We ate some cereal and watched The Soup, because we’d missed it Friday night. It comes on at 9pm on Friday and 9am on Saturday. Funny fact there. Anywayz! We thought about going to a movie - I wanted to see Eagle Eye, and she wanted to see Quarantine (blegh). So, we compromised, and went to see Eagle Eye at 10:30, and then Quarantine at 1:25. Can I just say that Eagle Eye was awesome? I know, I’m biased because I wubs Shia LaBeouf. And yes, there were a few bad words yelled out in anger here and there, but it wasn’t too bad. And for all the goodness that was Eagle Eye....Quarantine was twice as bad. Once again, I’m probably biased, I does not like zombie movies, and this was. A different basis for it, but still a zombie movie. These zombies were super fast and strong and impervious to harm (unless their brains were bashed in) and had the terrible habit of jumping out at you and screaming/growling while trying to eat your face off. The plot basis of the movie was...interesting. But, the ending...well. Most zombie movies end badly, right? I was actually more relieved towards the end, because by that time I wanted everyone in the movie dead...or undead as it were...

We came back here and watched a bit of Red vs. Blue, but she had to leave. I gave her my Red vs. Blue DVDs as I’m hoping to get the Box Set eventually. It’s really silly of me, but I keep going off to check my e-mail in hopes that Scamp has sent me that fan fic she was working on. We talked about it the other day and she said she made some progress on it. So of course, every time I sit down at the computer, I go and check my e-mail at five minutes intervals. I fail.

Now that I’ve spent too much money on iTunes downloads (great idea for present), I’m gonna go ahead and just chill. I don’t feel well. Later, Sunshines.
