The Simple things Confound the Wise...not that I'm wise or anything -.-

Beware, for I am:
Totally Menstrual

Several things to touch on this morning. Yesterday Mom and I cut the grass, though I did it mostly. She had to weed her flower beds, and it always takes her a while. So, I just cut grass till she was done. Which means, I ended up cutting all the front yard and about 1/3 of the back yard. It was surprisingly fun. I enjoy it because there’s just a sense of pride when the yard’s all pretty and you know you contributed. And there’s the fact that I ride on a mower instead of pushing it. That helps when determining the fun factor in yard work.
My shoulder are now burnt because of it, but they don’t really hurt. They’re just very red, and it’s quiet obvious where my tank top was. Mom says if I keep doing it I might actually get some color. However, I did have sun block on my face, so I didn’t have to worry about that. The only bad thing is that when I cut grass it aggravates my allergies. I usually get a runny nose and start crying. Well, this time, my tears fell right into my mouth...which wouldn’t have bothered me...if it wouldn’t have been for the sun screen >__< Bleah...
Ok, so church this morning was ok. Sunday school was fun, and I mentioned how I still wasn’t sure what was wrong with the computer with it not letting me play City of Heroes. linuXman asked if I had an antivirus or firewall that I was aware of and I told him I did have Norton. He said I might try blocking it and seeing if that helped. So I stored that away for later.
Mom and I went to Books a Million where we looked at calendars, travel books, and I looked at RPG books and manga while Mom looked at decorating books. I found another D&D book that I want. It’s called Races of Eberron . It has been thusly added to my Amazon.com Wish List till further notice. From what I can tell just by flipping through it, Changlings and Shifters are two completely different things. One of them (can’t remember which it is at this moment) shifts to animal like features and the other can actually just change anything about them. I need to get the book and read more about that. It’s kewl.
After Books a Million we went to Olive Garden. I enjoy Olive Garden a lot, but no one I know loves the place like I do. Sure we all love their salads and bread sticks, but aside from that, no one can find anything they like about it. Mom mentioned that we’re gonna have to go there during the week some time and get a cappuccino and a dessert and just sit and enjoy it just to try it out. That sounds like a lot of fun, but I have no idea when it’ll be possible to do. Anyway, I had the new shrimp scampi thingy. It was really good, but after eating two bread sticks and a salad, I really didn’t have much room left. But we eat that way so that we can have more for later. I will be taking that to work tomorrow.
When we got home, I hurred up and loged into Fan Fiction.net so that I could post the next chapter in the EQ Saga. I added in an author’s note and posted it, and I thought ‘hmm, I guess I can try that thing luniXman told me about.’ So, I disabled Norton and hit the City of Heroes icon...it’d downloading as I type. OMG, it was Norton all along. I feel so stupid. Now, I don’t actually have my subscription renewed or anything, and there’s the whole 1.3 GB that I need to down load before I could play, but I do intend to log on to the PlayNC site as soon as I can and renew my subscription for a month so that I can play when I get in from work and such.
I’m totally feeling menstrual and hating the fact that I was born female right now. I think I’m gonna turn off the monitor and nap. I can’t turn off the computer...that’d stop the downloading…and we can’t have that. So, I’ll write later. ‘Night.

I am a subtle taste, like Pine.

I am a quiet, fresh taste, almost more of a scent than a flavour. You will be aware of me, but not quite remember me without being reminded. Not that I'm boring; on the contrary, I'm just a little outside the ordinary. What Flavour Are You?
