cedar key, shavuot, and summer!
I went with Ken on Friday to Cedar Key to celebrate the 1st day of summer for me! Here are some pics!
The Beach! Not the most pristine... but relaxing and loads of fun!

Monday night was all night Shavuot study at Hillel. Also lots of fun and insightful. In the morning we climbed to the top of the roof via an inside ladder and read the 10 commandments on bean bags on a safe roof. Navigating the steep ladder was scarier than being on the roof! Then I went home for a nap!
I spent the day contemplating how it is interesting that specific Jewish traditions allow one to access almost altered states of consciouness. Even after I napped, I felt completely different going through the whole day than I would have if I slept normally. You just look at the world a little differently. 8-D
Summer.... still all into the job search. I applied for a new one today. I have a 3hours/month one to make newsletters for a company... it will pay for my computer bill,lol! I'm also going to start a Jewish Brownie Girl Scout troop over the summer, but that won't give me any money; just for fun! I'm still staying as optimistic as possible about a teaching job next year... haven't heard anything & no more interviews.
Healthwise I'm still feeling GREAT! I might try to go to the gym tonight... we'll see. Haven't gone back for PFTs... I'm trying to put off for as long as humanly possible since I feel soooooo GOOD! :D And PFTs make me too nervous,lol!
