YAY!
so here i am being a library slut again...i only have to do it four more times before the end of the semester...
and blah so i hate shakespeare but the final wasn't as horrible as i thought (getting distracted for a moment by quasi-crush object that is walking by...lol, meaning guy in my psyc class that i'm starting to get a crush on...). i think that i was as prepared as i was going to get for that exam because the only part that i didnt like was the part where you have to identify passages and what play they are from and who is speaking them, and i always suck at them. and there was this one term that i totally had never seen before "memento mori." i figured that it was in italian and "memento" looks like "memento" (duh) so i took that to be a remembrance and then i'm like "mori" that looks like spanish "morir" which means to die. so i said it was "something that you can remember somebody with after they have died. Yorick's skull in Hamlet is an example of this." so either one of two things will happen, either that is right and i am a genius, or that is totally not the answer and the teacher will realize that my answer was complete and utter bullshit. if it is the second case, hopefully he wont take an extra five points of my score because he knows that i bsed that answer. i memorized a sonnet so that was an extra 3 points, i guess now i'll just have to cross my fingers until grades get officially posted. and damn i just realized when trying to fill something out for work that my thumb actually hurts from having written for two hours straight.
next point - i feel kinda funny walking around in my pajamas when it's so bright and sunny and actually daytime outside. usually when i'm wearing my pajamas around on campus it's either before one p.m. or dark outside and obviously i violated both of those pajama-wearing principles today.
and like i mentioned yesterday, free food is great. it was nice to come to work and find a bag full of cookies here for me...mmmm...
and the moment you've all been waiting for i'm sure....(the reason why my music says i'm dancing...) *insert your own drum roll here* i dont have to take my child maltreatment exam! yay! no big, gigantic, huge, comprehensive final essay to spend two hours on tuesday writing! *looks around to make sure no one's watching* *does a lil dance*
and that is all from the resident library slut, who i might add is very lonely today...
