this entry is all about me
because it's my birthday. and school is over and yay for straight a's, glad i still got it. and at the party city christmas party, montron announced that they were going to start doing an employee of the month and diana says, "oh great, so there will be a wall full of 'megan smell.'" then they started talking about how there should be a limit on the number of times you can get it, hehe.
anyway, i guess that's all about me, now back to the rest of the update.
so i recently had this exchange with employees at bed, bath, & beyond:
me: do you have those toasters that cook toast and eggs at the same time?
bbb employee #1 (bbbe): oh i know what you are talking about...it's made by back to basics
(she looks on the computer, a few minutes pass)
bbbe #2: what are we looking for? a reindeer that poops jellybeans?
so school is over and it was good. i volunteered at an event at the children's museum and got to play with little kids. we went out for curtis' birthday, the friday before we went barhopping with some of his friends and then a few days after we went to outback with tiffany.
last friday we went caroling at a nursing home with some girls from my cohort. we were referred to as the "one man band" (b/c of curtis).
that night we saw Beautiful Star at Triad Stage, it was freaking awesome. it is an original christmas production that they did last year and it sold out. they brought it back again and it sold out this year as well. it's based on some kind of play they do in england called a mystery cycle, where they tell the whole story, mostly in regards to the bible. so Beautiful Stage took place at a church and it was their christmas pageant, it started at the beginning of the world and went to the christmas story. i went back and bought the soundtrack today.
after that we went to the cohort holiday party for a bit. sunday was the party city christmas party and then we went bowling afterwards. curtis came and he had the highest score of the night.
last night we went to the Christmas Castle at Castle McCulloch in Jamestown. there were christmas lights and carolers and elves and such.
we went to Macaroni Grill tonight for my birthday dinner and the awesome girl from the triad stage plays is a hostess there, hehe. a waiter sang happy birthday to me in italian.
that's about it, curtis and i are going to wrap presents and watch a muppets' christmas carol.
