well compare to how often i've been posting...
so the catalina island conservancy finally updated their website about the fire: http://www.catalinaconservancy.org/ecology/weather/fire.cfm . i'm pretty sure that the third picture down on the right is the laura stein volunteer camp but i'm not sure since there is obviously less vegatation then before. and the tents are different colored but i'm sure they've had to replace the coverings in the almost 3 years it's been since i've been there. it does say that the camp was partially burned down. :-(
