forcing myself to rejoin the lj world
so i'm really going to try hard to update at least once a week from now on. this lj is as much for me to remember what's happened as it is to tell everyone else what's going on in my life.
so today curtis and i went and took a tour of the old governor's mansion downtown Blandwood (www.blandwood.org). it was pretty cool and bigger than it looked from the outside. there's a safe there that used to belong to the railroad (governor morehead was the president of the railroad) that has never been opened because they don't know the combo. they scanned it to see if there is anything important in it, like money, but it's just filled with paper. there were some older ladies on the tour with us and they were complaining about how when they went to the smithsonian they didn't have a tour guide, they had to walk around and look at things by themselves, heh.
then we went to the acc women's semi-finals. nc state beat duke but unc beat maryland.
so i think a way to make myself update will be to talk about the movies that we've watched this week from netflix. i'll start that another day though because we're about to watch psych and then go eat.
