stupid csi

i am so mad that kevin frickin federline was on csi tonight. but i guess the producers wanted some way to lighten the heavy mood. i mean how can you take a character seriously that's being played by K-Fed.

i was definitely yelling at the television several times during that episode. mostly because random violence pisses me off.

and that's all for this entirely uninformative update. once i have a new computer maybe i'll start updating on a regular basis.

but i guess while i'm here i might as well keep talking. so i've just been working my butt off lately, since it's halloween season and all. this weekend sharon and carl are coming down for a visit. tentative plans include a haunted house/cornfield and getting drunk and playing cranium. and they will be being entertained by curtis while i'm at party city. they are going to a football game. and next weekend we're coming up to baltimore for umbc's 40th anniversary festivities. and then after that it's the weekend before halloween. so it'll be crazy here for a bit. probably until veteran's day when i get a day off from the rtc. speaking of the rtc, i'm working at the rtc instead of at the front desk tomorrow. for some reason we need five people per shift now so when Dr. C has off I get to go over there and be an extra body. this means that i have to be at work at 7am. yea. and we have had new restraint training. so now all we can do are basket holds...that doesn't really work when the kid is bigger than you...which is most of the clients.

curtis and i have a fun little road trip planned for thanksgiving weekend. (and we might drive on the blue ridge parkway for a bit next weekend if it's nice. we are leaving early friday morning which means we'll actually be driving the entire way during daylight hours). back to the thanksgiving trip. so we are coming up on wednesday night, having dinner with my family on thanksgiving, doing whatever on friday, going to a football game in west virginia on saturday (west virginia vs. usf), and then going to luray caverns in virginia on sunday.

alrighty...hopefully that was close enough to a real update to satisfy the one person that still reads this.

party city, caverns, halloween, thanksgiving, football, umbc, friends, baltimore, blue ridge parkway, tv shows
