more stuff i forgot to write about
so when we went to the zoo at the desert exhibit there was artemesia there! if you don't remember, artemesia is my favorite plant from catalina island. it's affectionately known as cowboy cologne and it smells so pretty! i pulled a little piece off a plant and walked around holding it in my fingers to smell it.
and then i forgot to write about the guys hanging out at the park. i guess they were reenactors. they were hanging out at one of the tour stops talking about guns and demonstrating. and they kept bickering with each other, it was funny. and they had a random boy with them who didnt seem related to either of them and i'm wondering if he was their slave or something. he just ran around and threw sticks at trees.
and i forgot to write about my two latest weird dreams.
in the first one i was working at party city and it was taken over by terrorists. somehow i managed to escape but the party city was in the middle of nowhere in the middle of a giant parking lot. then somehow i'm at a house with the psychologist (b.d. wong) from law and order svu. and we're sneaking up to his house and there's a woman with a machine gun inside and she sees us so we start to run through his backyard which ends up full of weird remnants of an amusement park or something.
and then the other dream is that i was home with my mom, little brother, and little sister. these guys came to our house and kidnapped us but they wouldnt let us take the little girl. they made my mom drug her and then she put cucumbers over her eyes or something. and she kept waking up and the men were getting really mad. so then i come back a few years later and my mom is living next door to our house and my little brother is living with her. and i pick up a younger kid out of a high chair. i tell my mom i just came to see how she was doing. so there's another house on her property at the back and it looks fine from the inside. and i say that i could move in there and fix it up. well we go look in the window and it's totally destroyed. i'm looking harder and i realize that there's a giant broken carousel in the house. so there are giant carousel animals all over the place. so we all start shaking the house which is neverending inside, or seems like it. giant toys start falling from the ceiling like a giant barrel of monkeys and giant connect four. so when we shake it for a while a door upstairs becomes clear. and tom hanks comes flying out of the door with two rats on strings like puppets saying "i've cured them!"
yea my subconscious has been overactive lately.
and i'm finally packed. hopefully i'm not forgetting anything.
