i'm writing about some of my plans in advance...not a week after they've happend!

but first to the recounting part. so i forgot a funny monkey thing from the zoo. we were looking at the baboons, you know the ones with the big red asses. well this huge one climbed up in a tree and started shaking all the limbs. and all the little monkeys followed him and we were watching from the bottom of the tree. so then the big one comes down and the little ones climb up and start shaking the branches. meanwhile one of the little ones has climbed all the way out to the edge of the branch, now this wasn't a very large tree so when the limbs at the top shook, the whole tree shook. so this monkey held on for dear life until it just let go and fell...it was so cute. and then another big one came up while the little ones were still up there and shook the branches again and another one of them fell out of the tree.
tonight curtis and i went to a grasshoppers game. afterwards there were fireworks. hopefully i'll get around to posting the pictures from the zoo, the hail, and the fireworks sometime this weekend.
tomorrow we're planning on checking out the arts and antiques festival downtown before i have to work. and sunday we're sleeping in and then i'm going to work.
