so more information on my crazy holiday fun
well the day before thanksgiving i did a little shopping and got a few people on my list done. that night curtis' family arrived.
then thanksgiving i got up early and helped make dinner. i can make green bean casserole now. it was great. we had lots of food including gumbo that curtis' family brought with them, that was delicious.
so then i went to the RTC and there were only two kids there. and right after i got there they went out with other staff to go to a movie so there were no kids. so basically i got paid to watch movies, knit, and play spades. later in the evening i took the girl who was left to celebration station (like chuckie cheese). i didnt think they would have been open on thanksgiving but they were...we got there and had 45 minutes before they closed. so we played five games of pool and she beat me four times in a row. then we went back and they needed me to cover third shift so i agreed. so i knitted and watched brandon play video games.
then when i got home in the morning we all we out to breakfast. then i wanted/needed to stop at kohl's. i had seen some stuff i wanted to buy for presents and i needed to exchange the coat that i bought there a while ago (i only had it a week and the pocket got a hole in it).
so after being up for 28 straight hours i got to sleep. then i went to work third shift again. and i watched movies for eight hours and cross-stitched and got paid for it, hehe.
then home to sleep. then i got up and went to work at party city. i'm so glad that tonight i actually get to sleep while it's dark.
