busy day
so today was pretty hectic. PT this morning was canceled on account of rain. so i slept in and skipped breakfast. our team met this morning to go over the information that we all collected for our team briefing. basically before we go anywhere we do background research on our project and then make a presentation to give to various staff members in order to show them that we are ready and that we understand what's going on. we state our individual and group goals, talk about where we are living, talk about the project, talk about our skills, etc.
so last night i was doing research about the area and community where we will be staying. so i'll give more info later because i dont have any of it with me.
so since some of us missed breakfast we went to burger king to eat. then we had a training about discrimination which was really amusing. then we had to drive to the cafeteria and grab food and then drive back to the other building and eat it really fast before our team briefing. and our team briefing went great and they told us we were really thorough and everything. then i went to the BX, i actually walked there but i ran into Matt and Jeff in the parking lot we all went back together. i got a pair of those gloves that are like gloves and mittens all in one. and they were only $5, i'm excited. and then back to get rain gear and coveralls issued to us. and then some of us went to the mall, then to walmart, and then to off-broadway shoe warehouse. i got a memory card for my camera, a notebook, and a pair of hiking boots.
then back for dinner. and then cards with some team members.
and that's about it.
and yay for no PT tomorrow because it's wednesday. so only two more days of willie-style PT. actually only one because friday doesnt count since it's just our baseline test all over again.
