downtown Sacramento

so today a bunch of us heading downtown Sacramento. we jumped on the light-rail, though a surprising amount of people had never heard of the lightrail before. but then again i thought it was surprising when a bunch of people hadnt heard of crab chips.

oh and right down the street from us is a drive-thru porn shop. i guess it's for those people who are in a hurry.

there were some interesting people downtown and on the lightrail. there was a guy who wanted to sell us a brand-new lighter for five dollars. i wonder what store he stole it from. and then there was this other guy that was telling someone else on the train about how his dad said he couldnt get a tattoo unless he went in the backyard and fought with him and won. yea. and then he was talking about how he got beat up a lot and ended up with broken ribs a few times. he even tried using a baseball bat and that didnt work.

so we went to the Wine & Art Festival downtown. it was pretty cool. the art was really expensive though and it cost to go in the wine-tasting part. so we just walked around. i got a cute gift for benjamin for christmas and i bought some kettle corn. then we went to old sacramento and ate at Joe's Crab Shack. that was pretty good. the waiters/waitresses were line-dancing. and it was some girl's birthday and they made her gallop around the restaurant on one of those horse heads on a stick.

old sacramento was cool, everything was all old. i bought a bunch of postcards, both to send out and to keep for myself.

and there was a candy place that gave out free samples. meaning you got to sample things while you were in the store, lol.

and there was this huge mansion full of Halloween costumes called Evangeline's.

and that's about it.
