cookie equilibrium has eluded me
so curtis was making fun of me yesterday when we went to the store because i chose which cereal to buy based on the "toy" in the box. well, it was also on sale. i got golden grahams because it came with a free DVD. i was looking for the heathcliff DVD but i had to settle for Inspector Gadget. lol.
i'm on to my 14th book for the summer. which has made a pretty big dent in the books that i own that i havent read yet.
so i made cookies today. from one of the recipes in a mystery book that i read earlier in the summer. they came out fine, but they were very inconsistent. and we ended up with way too many cookies for the both of us. so we're going to take some and share them with other people, lol. the first batches came out better but they were more crispy around the edges. if i made the balls of dough bigger than the cookies came out huge. and if i made them smaller then they just spread out like crazy and ended up paper thin. and if i didnt cook them as much then they weren't burned around the edges but they weren't done in the middle. lol.
