damn you jannus landing
so maybe i mentioned how i could possibly see gavin degraw twice in one weekend, but how i wasn't going to do that. theoretically i could have seen gavin in St. Petersburg on Friday, August 6th and then gone and seen him again in Orlando at the House of Blues on Sunday, August 8th. well...when i found all this out when i got back to tampa and decided to look and see if gavin was playing anywhere near here. so then when i went to work, the manager had written the schedule for two weeks and i was scheduled to close on that friday. so then i finally got someone to switch with me and i came home today to order the tickets online. well i went to gavin's site and the August 6th date was no longer on his site. but i went to the site of the venue (Jannus Landing) and it was still listed. so i tried to call them on the phone and it was still listed on the recording as well (even though the site said that the box office was open from 7 pm to 1 am i wasn't able to talk to anyone). so i was about to order tickets online but i didnt feel like paying the fee and on the recording it had mentioned two places in downtown st. pete where you can go and buy tickets. so i called those places, getting a recording at one and a live person at the other. so i ask them if they are selling tickets for the August 6th Gavin DeGraw show and the guy informs me that the show has been postponed until November! WHY ARE THEY STILL SELLING TICKETS ONLINE?? so now i have to try and request off for Sunday so that i can go to orlando to see him at the House of Blues. i figure i'm just going to tell the manager that the show was rescheduled for sunday and see what i can do. i mean theoretically i can still work a 12-3 if needed. but the doors open at 6 and driving to orlando sucks so we'll see.
