Baltimore:
you accept the word "hon" in everyday speech. i dont really care one way or another

you don't object to your mayor repainting the park benches every year as an attempt to boost moral.
you accept that the sky has four colors: pale blue, orange, pink, and hazy purple. (the city follows that color scheme too, although the purple is bolder, due to the ravens.)

you know better than to take public transportation.
you can shrug off living in the heroin capital of the world. well i guess since i didnt know this until now i've been shrugging it off the entire time
you know better than to go to the inner harbour in june or july. i may know better but that doesnt stop me. two years ago i was there on the 4th of july. tim drove and he made his own parking lot in this grassy lot where you had to sorta drive over the sidewalk to get there. lots of other people followed his example and the whole thing was filled with cars when we left.
you can handle 3 to 5 name changes in a stretch of road a mile long. (and know the sequence.)
