(i'm sure that subject has been used before)
so let's see...
friday i turned in all the crap so i can get zero credit so i can get a notation on my transcript that i officially did an internship.
have i mentioned how awesome my printer is? my cartridge lasted me an entire semester and i had to print out a lot of stuff
just working at fye this weekend. and trying not to kill jason n. though i doubt that many people would miss him if i did . lol.
and i have a science of water final in the morning. but i really could care less. i'm just done. done done done done! i just need a C in this class and i've gotten an A on everything else. so i could probably not even take the final and have a C. but i can't do that. i probably should have studied more. i made a study sheet. but i didnt bother looking up the stuff that i dont really know.
and then there were the guys making a slip 'n' slide outside of their apartment. yea, that was interesting. one of them is going to have some nasty grass/pavement burns on the bottom of his feet. serves him right.
and there was this foreign movie on saturday:
Vacas Cows (Spanish)
Director Julio Medem presents a saga spanning over half a century of the twisted goings on between two families in Northern Spain. Carmelo Gomez and Kandito Uranga star as the fathers, sons and grandsons, locked through the ages in an absurdly stubborn and emotionally exhausting conflict. From the Carlist Wars of 1875 to the more famous Spanish Civil War of the thirities, Vacas proves that sometimes there seems to be no escape from how family ties dictate our fate.
now, I had passed this movie over at the library on previous occasions because the subject matter did not interest me. well i was running out of foreign movies to check out and i realized that it was directed by the same guy that did Sex & Lucia, so i decided to give it a chance. it was very strange, and rather boring. it was Romeo & Juliet with cows, oh and incest. yea. it was a strange family conflict. it was cool how the director had the same actors playing the people of each generation.
i'm also starting to recognize the spanish actors from other films. hehe.
now off to sleep
movies,
