so much for getting in bed early
i really did have a plan. and it included cleaning the common room, stopping at late night, proofreading my thesis, and watching a foreign movie. and it was sposed to be over around midnight. now it's 2:08 and i did all of the above except for i only watched about half an hour of the movie. i'll finish it sometime tomorrow. it was really good too. but i knew that i didnt want to get too hooked or i wouldnt be able to stop and sleep...
now on to the weekend update. it's been a busy weekend....
a quick list of stuff:
Friday:
fye from 9-5...nothing memorable
then the habitat cookout. it was fun. we hung out, ate burgers and hot dogs and played volleyball and frisbee. i only played frisbee though, cuz i suck at volleyball. which is really sad if you've ever heard me tell the high school volleyball story...because then i was the best in my class.
Saturday:
woke up and did random miscellaneous things
wrote a few emails, got my car payment together, wrote a check for the honor society
then fye 2-cl - i posted the memorable things last night
then i came home and renewed my tags and ordered a triptic (itinerary) for the mini road trip to florida. i've been a member of AAA since 1975, before i was born, yea.
Sunday:
worked 10-8:30. jason was the second person to mention something about mike shope and i. like we flirt all the time or something. lol. whatever. only memorable thing:
me: your total is $73.46
man: man, i only have $71, i have to go get some money
me: there's an atm right outside the store
man: oh, my wife's around here somewhere, she's like an atm
yea ok. and i bought dane cook for carrie. since i wont be here when she graduates, its an early present. and because she said she needed it because she wouldnt be able to use mine anymore. and i bought the soundtrack to sex & lucia. cuz that movie has fucking awesome music.
so then i came back and cleaned the living room. then i took out the trash and erin and i went to the spot. where they've randomly discontinued the "hometown meal and a canned soda" meal equivalency. but the guy gave it to me anyway. but they didnt have any canned sodas so he let me get a bag of chips instead. then i came back and vacuumed. then i told myself i couldnt eat until i proofread my thesis. well that took fucking forever. cuz i kept finding things that i could add to my discussion section. so it ended up being 47 pages total, 31 pages of just text. and then i was sitting here watching it print because i thought my printer was going to run out of ink in the middle. which it didnt. but i had to fix a few things (page numbers weren't printing out on a few pages and one of my figures wasn't printing out correctly). and then i was 1:00 am. so i watched a little of the foreign movie and here i am.
