a bunch of stuff i forgot
first from the habitat meeting from forever ago. so everyone was all talking and the minute i was like "hey guys, let's get the meeting started," my cell phone rings. and it was lisa so i was like "hey, i'm trying to run a meeting here."
so then at the end of the meeting there was a "hey, let's throw stuff at the president" activity. yea. like wads of paper, poorly constructed paper airplanes, and a half full sprite bottle.
and i forgot to mention something about villa maria. when the kids are really bad they have to write apology letters....here's an example of a particularly humorous one:
Dear Miss Veronica,
I'm sorry that I hit you with my shoe. I meant to hit Mr. Ron. I'm sorry I have bad aim.

needless to say he was told to rewrite that.

When fate lands three hapless men - an unemployed disc jockey (Tom Waits), a small-time pimp (John Lurie), and a strong-willed Italian tourist (Roberto Benigni) - in a Louisiana prison, their singular adventure begins.
It was pretty good. It was all artsy and in black and white. And it had cool music. I forgot to mention that Talk to Her had good music. And that's part of the reason why I enjoyed Sex and Lucia so much.
And so our project idea for science of water fell through because they aren't going to have the outdoor pool filled up in time because they are having issues. so we came up with a new topic this morning (analyzing run-off from parking lots). so we had to run around campus in the rain and scoop up water near storm drains in parking lots in the rain. fun i tell you. really.
