so let's see.

yesterday.

was a library slut in the morning. then i had class. then i ran around and did stuff. like give umbc $100 so i can graduate. and then i went and turned in the graduation application. then i had to meet jen at the mall at 5. we ate at fuzio's and then we got going. it turns out that she may actually know the kid that's been causing trouble at fye lately (who, btw, was seen being led out of the mall in handcuffs on Saturday night). hehe. she thinks he's one of her kids (she teaches at Meade High School). i was showing her some of the other kids that cause trouble (because they passed by fuzio's while we were eating) and she knew one of them and said that he and the other kid hang out a lot. but the sad thing was that she said she thought that most of those kids were only in middle school (if they go to school at all).

so then off to the concert. which was of course: AWESOME! the guy before him was hilarious. he was making fun of hilary duff and clay aiken. he was saying something about how when he first heard the clay aiken song he thought it said "if i were invincible i would just stay inside your room," and i thought, "wtf, that doesnt make any sense?" then i realized that it says "invisible" and that's disgusting. then he sung some prince song with really weird lyrics "starfish and coffee, maple syrup and jam, butterscotch clouds and tangerines, and a side order of ham, if you set your mind free baby, maybe you'll understand, starfish and coffee, maple syrup and jam." and he was having us sing along. and then he stopped and he was like "look around you, there's a few people out there not singing. if that's the case, just hold them, tell them it's okay to let go." lol. and then there was more sing alongs including that Whitesnake song "Here I go again on my own..." and the Bee Gees "Staying Alive." so then he was talking about how the one song was from New Jersey. he was like "they still have mullets in NJ, they still have white jeans, and i'm sure that Reebok is still manufacturing the High Top there." so then he started to sing "Livin' on a Prayer" by Bon Jovi. it was great. we were all singing. and he told us we were fun and funky. lol. but in the middle of the song he stopped and said there were people in the front not singing and then said we had to "chant until we were ready." the only thing was that i couldnt tell if we were sposed to be saying "mullet" or "moment." lol. and his own songs were cool. and it was just him and his guitar and then another guy playing the cello. near the end he was like "let's hear it for Matt Fish(?) on the cello. there are people in the middle there not clapping. this guy can play the fucking cello, you better clap. can you play the cello? i didnt think so!" hehe, sometimes he reminded me of dane cook. lol.

and then gavin. who was also great. he sang mostly his own stuff including two new songs. and he sang a bday song he wrote when he was younger because it was his birthday. and he said "let's get it on" and then proceeded to play the keyboard with his feet, lol. he was staying after to sign autographs but the line was forever long and jen needed to get up early this morning to teach. but it's all good. i got a sticker and a poster.

then i got back to campus and tried not to fall and die on my way back from my car. i had to park on the frickin' loop and then entire way back was ice. i was walking behind my building and ran out of snow to walk in. so i stepped on a sloped portion of sidewalk (because i had no choice) and proceeded to slide to the steps. yea that was fun. plus there were like three police cars in the little loop out front of my apartment (apparently something had happened on the other side of the building because i saw some cops go into someone's apartment when i was trying not to fall on my ass).

then today. which was rather productive. first the retarded involvement fest. it was horribly run. this was the worst i'd ever seen it. and we had almost no people sign up. it was so stupid. then i went to class and did an experiment on paper towels. yea. then i went and met with dr. deluty. he's going to be my sponsor for my internship. then i went to the lab and finished the data stuff that i needed to do before monday. though i did spend a significant amount of time organizing the people in my phone into contact groups and giving all the groups different ring tones. lol. then i went and talked to norma and did various stuff. then krissy and i organized the habitat cabinet in the student organization room.

so i went and checked the status of my account today. yea so it has me owing $2,300 some because i wasnt registered for full time credit for a bit there because i was waiting to get permission to register. so my scholarship didnt get applied. and even though my roomies have assured me that there's really nothing to worry about of course i'm going to be freaking out inside until i get it taken care of. *sighs*

(oh and you knew an icon change was coming. yay gavin degraw!)
