yay! went to the dixie chick concert with jen and a few of her friends. it was great. they sang songs from all of their albums. i was afraid they were going to do mostly songs from their new album which i dont really know. so we met at jen's house at 5:30 and then we were sposed to go to the metro station so we didnt have to worry about parking in DC. well somehow we missed something and ended up in DC anyway. it's all good. we went and ate at fuddrucker's. then the concert. as i mentioned before it was great. michelle branch opened which was sorta surprising. she needs to learn to articulate. i could understand what she was singing but i have no idea what she was saying when she would talk between songs. but i'm sure it wasnt that important anyway. so somewhere in the middle of the songs natalie stops and says "washington d.c." and everyone starts cheering. then she said "the president of the united states lives here doesnt he." hahaha. and everyone cheered louder. there were a few boos mixed in there though. then they sang the "truth" song and said something about not really knowing why they put it on the album but after the "incident" they understand perfectly. someone at work was saying that they didnt really like the dixie chicks anymore, not because of the whole "yea we're sorry bush is from texas." (hey if i lived in texas i'd be sorry too). but because of the FUTK shirts (Fuck You Toby Keith). now, when i first saw an article in a mag about that i only saw the picture. i didnt know that it stood for something so i didnt know what all the fuss was about. i was all like "man, they cant even spell it right." lol.

and jen's mom works at a school cafeteria so she gave me some left over chocolate milk to take home with me. and tomorrow between my class and work i'm going to go to her house and we're going to have school pizza.

guess it was that early bday cake (left over from the year before)
cuz i'll be poor and living on my own by then.

quizzes (that still work), music, friends, concerts
