ugh...i just cant stand it when people start screaming and call that music. so i will be giving my Finch CD to anyone who would like it. they scream a little bit too much for my liking. and everything will be okay as long as i dont let amanda know, hehe.
yay, today was a thoroughly fun and interesting day. so right now i'm exhausted but i'm trying to type this out before i collapse.
went and presented a poster at the Eastern Psychological Conference this morning. was pretty good. we drove around in circles in baltimore. we went around this one block like three times. the first time the valet was full, and then during the next pass we realized the garage was full also, so the third time we asked them to valet us anyway and they did. so then we went to fells point afterwards for lunch.
then i came back to campus and it was still light outside so i decided to go exploring. i went to look for the patapsco female institute in ellicott city. well, online it said the address was N. something road but that was not right because that road deadended. so i drove all around ellicott city and i remembered someting about it maybe being on church road. so i'm like, i'm only driving through ellicott city one more time and that's when church road just materialized in front of me. so i found the place. but there's a giant fence all the way around it and nowhere to park. so i just snapped some pictures and left. not nearly as impressive as "hell house." and not nearly as many creepy vibes. and this one is actually open to the public, sundays 1-4 but i think it costs $5, and from what i've seen, it's not worth it. and i dont understand how ppl can live in that town and travel on those roads at a regular basis, yuck.
so then i went looking for hell house. only i was going the wrong way on frederick road and didnt realize it until i got to the end of frederick road. oops. but i finally made it down there. and i will not be going down there again, not by myself anyway, and not driving. i have no idea how tim was driving so fast on that road, in the dark, in the rain that one night. i believe now that if anyone had been coming the other way, we'd all be dead. i didnt realize that there are places right next to the river where there is no guardrail. i found a few more abandoned places that we missed in the dark. then i drove and parked across from the factory and snapped a coupla pictures of the house. i was going to go up there, but it was getting dark, and there was a cop driving around down there.
then i came home and i wanted to get my pictures developed so i convinced my roomie to go to the mall with me. i didnt get my pictures though, but we did see Chicago, which was AWESOME. best move i've seen in a while, a movie that i dont mind that i paid to see.
and i stopped at FYE, even though i told them that i couldnt work tonight. oops. and it was funny cuz my roomie had been thinking the whole time that naz was a guy and rinaldy was a girl (whenever i'd talk about work, lol).
and that's about it for my day. i'm going to skip habitat in the morning and sleep in because i havent been able to do that in quite a while.
