Your post was interesting. I read that SAME article about Omar Bin Laden and I am not sure if he is an opportunist or truly sincere. So if we don't send more troops to Afghanistan to go after his father and the Talibans, who are destablizing the region, what the heck do we do instead? How do you bring sanity to an insane situation? When will these radicals cease being radical, I am wondering

Good point. How do we know if Omar's suddenly cut his lifetime of ties to his father for the betterment of the world, as he professes. Also, there was kind of an eery comment he made about "you're lucky no one is at war with me"...old habits die hard? I hear the British government is pretty suspect of his motives. His relationship with his wife is creepy

Who the heck is Rob Feingold? As a returning grad student I haven't kept up with all the new faces in the federal government. I had read Obama had a lot of academics supporting him or giving him advice.

Russ Feingold...Wisconsin Senator. :) He's the only one who voted against the invasion of Iraq, among Hilary Clinton, John Kerry and all the other windbags who claimed they "opposed it after they supported it" during their post Iraq invasion campaigns.
