Monday Morning sports hangover

Bucky crumbled, the Pack crumbled...but the BREWERS are in the PLAYOFFS for the first time since '82. I do declare the legendary Robin Yount looked ageless on the sidelines yesterday in his new role. It was a snapshot of the world series era. The kid, even at 50.

And, I'm very happy for Favrey on my new second favorite NFL team, the Jets. Even though all that Broadway Brett crap makes his stomach turn, I'm sure. Like some chick in Boston said (she's a NE fan, her dad's a Jets fan), East Rutherford better freaking appreciate what they have in Brett, and no, it's not white fur coats and cheesy cologne ads.

My brother went down to the land of white trash, Tampa, to see the Packers play. I'm sure he wished he'd timed that better to be in Milwaukee for the party last night. I wonder if he got those tickets BEFORE the Buccaneers denied ever wanting to aquire Favre? (that was a classic dismissal to save their asses if ever there was one)
