And, in closing

I think the Jets better damn well embrace Brett Favre or else I am coming to kick some arse. Srsly. He deserves it. He's the football dude extraordinaire.

This whole drama that everyone has watched like a trainwreck has mystified and saddened fans of the true game of football. And Brett Favre represents. He found his voice in Green Bay, which also represents. So, the whole thing sucked. The media glommed onto it, and Brett Favre played into it. So did Ted Thompson by releasing the "timeline," when they should have been keeping the whole conversation in the office.

The media just sucks, of course. Except for Anderson Cooper. And, of course Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert. A guy at work was saying he actually grew to respect Paris Hilton after he saw her McCain ad on Letterman. And, he's a Dem to the core. Giving the PH a voice in our presidental election? Sorry state of affairs here. What's up with this video? I haven't seen it.
Obama in '08! Even if I go Libertarian on my vote.

Brett, you break my heart...just a dude who has known football all his life. When and only when he truly decides to retire on his own terms, tomorrow, next year, FIVE years from now, he will make a great coach and a well sought after analyst for the sport we loves up here in 'sconie. He changed the face of the Pack. Look at all the morons who chime in on the Faux news site and ESPN.com. Green Bay...where the NFL really got started, along with Chi-town. He's a legend so screw the haters.
And, I'm sure the psychologically closed off, non communicative Ted Thompson even has a broken heart tonight.

But, the Jets better embrace him is all I'm sayin'. He's is a legend and they are lucky.
I think he'll do well.
