School and such
So yesterday was the first day of school. Parking was terrible...they closed my favorite lot (pianoman) in order to build something, im not sure what. I drove around for 15 minutes and then i found the new lot over by the airport/bayfront. It was a looooooong walk to class in the heat. My first class (Business Law) seems easy but boring. Its one of those classes where the prof just generalizes what you read from the book and rambles it back to you. Like i said boring but should be easy. So then i went to buy books and for some reason i thought i could carry 4 extremely large books all the way back to my car by myself. I must have looked really funny doing it because i had to stop at every bench i could find to rest and re-adjust everything. It was sooooo hot and my arms felt like they were going to fall off. I sat in my car with the air on for like 10 minutes before i could move. So then i walked back to go see if anyone was hanging out in the lounge and found that it was 1/2 the size it used to be and under construction!!! WTF?! Our whole school is torn apart. So then i went and sat in a chair somewhere on the 2nd floor of Davis just to cool off in the air. Around 1:30 i walked over to my next class (Intro.Management. Turns out the prof. was somewhere else and he sent a "friend" of his to take roll and then we left. I think i spent more time waiting for the class to start than anything else. So, then i returned home took a nap and went to Starbucks! All in all an ok day.
My weekend was allright. I was sick starting on the day after my birthday with a kidney infection. I wont give you the gory details but it was NOT fun. So i spent friday in pain and saturday and sunday i felt icky. My mom and my sister were here to visit and i felt bad b/c we didnt get to do much. We did however go out to eat at Frenchys which has the best fried grouper sandwhiches in the world, so that made me happy!
Today is Managerial Accounting :( Not looking forward to another accounting class...but hopefully itll be easier than Strachans class. After that i have to haul ass to Seminole to be at work to close the back office. I just hope nothing goes wrong tonight. I dont want to be there past 10:30. Thats my goal, we'll see what happens. Wish me luck! Oh and thank you to everyone who left me a birthday note! :)
