Oh oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo This show is so great that I actually Hate Derek now!

You know I never thought it possible.... But I hate you Derek!

When Addison came on the show, we all hated her.  We had good reason, but the woman stuck to her guns.  She admitted what she did and she took everything that Derek threw at her to show him how ( Read more... )

That cable guy is NUTS!!!!! he's right on the memory, 256 is barely enough for windows. But if you can put 1 GB in there, do it. PSP and other things will be much happier for it. But not use an antivirus?!?!? I use Trend Micro's PC-cillin security suite, which costs what Norton's antivirus alone uses, and it takes less resources. I like it much better, and if you have an old version of a competitor, you can get a rebate on it if they're still doing them ( ... )

I have heard great things about PC-cillin and I am thinking of getting it ... I want to check and see about upgrading my memory in a couple of months ... the store that takes care of my pc needs has pc-cillin there and they can add more memory to my pc ...

It made the difference on my old computer, it would freeze when Norton ran the full scan (which took over 2 hours being the only thing running, and me babysiting my memory manager, at abut 320 MB ram), but didn't with PC-cillan. Plus the new version has a anti phishing and anti scam, and a spyware scanner. I have about 4 total spyware scanners, because none catch them all.

phishing emails are the ones that look like they're from legit businesses but really aren't and are just trying to get your passwords or account information. Mine mostly flags what it thinks are fradulent emails as spam, but they're mostly from online stores like itunes and the dvd club I'm in. But Earthlink has it's own spam filter, and I have that on high, so it pulls in a bunch of stuff so the really bad stuff doesn't make it any more. Oh, and it also blocks some sites and adds. Like on photobucket, some of the nasty adds that are used are blocked throught the filter. There are also some sites that it will block for various reasons (illegal drugs, sex, etc) and you'd have to manually add them to the white list in order to view them.
