NHL Awards, here we come
So my team was bumped early and in pathetic fashion since they did not play their best but I still love them because they did as best they could under the circumstances and all the injuries ... now the NHL has announced it's list of finalists for it's major off-season awards and Jaromir Jagr, Henrik Lundqvist and coach Tom Renney have all been nominated!!!! I am SO beyond incredibly happy for them because even if they do not win they are getting recognized for their wonderful accomplishments this season ...

HART TROPHY (MVP) - Jaromir Jagr, New York Rangers; Miikka Kiprusoff, Calgary Flames; Joe Thornton, San Jose Sharks.
VEZINA TROPHY (Goaltender) - Martin Brodeur, New Jersey Devils; Miikka Kiprusoff, Calgary Flames; Henrik Lundqvist, New York Rangers.
CALDER TROPHY (Rookie) - Sidney Crosby, Pittsburgh Penguins; Alexander Ovechkin, Washington Capitals; Dion Phaneuf, Calgary Flames.
JAMES NORRIS TROPHY (Defenceman) - Nicklas Lidstrom, Detroit Red Wings; Scott Niedermayer, Anaheim Mighty Ducks; Sergei Zubov, Dallas Stars.

LESTER B. PEARSON AWARD (MOP, as voted by NHLPA) - Jaromir Jagr, New York Rangers; Alexander Ovechkin, Washington Capitals; Joe Thornton, San Jose Sharks.
The UPS Guy brought me my NY Rangers 1994 Cup Winning season dvd's ... 14 games in their entirety .. from the last two series ... So since there is no hockey tonight I am off to watch those dvd's .... I love how they are packaged, the DVD's art on the outside of each DVD casing is the box score of the game with a little summary of what took place, a score sheet of the players who had points in the game, the winning goalie, goalies score sheet as far as shots faced and the periods scoring and game winning goal and player highlighted ... sigh .... love it!!
Also Henrik Lundqvist was named one of People Magazine's Top 100 Most Beautiful People in the World. I am buying that magazine today so that I can cherish it always, sigh he's so pretty ...
Kitties have so far ignored the new table, methinks cause it's daytime and right now they are sleeping, two under the covers, one on top and the other on top of the DVR recorder cause it's taping GH and it's warm and Baby likes warm places until he becomes too hot and then jumps off the thingie and throws himself on the floor and he actually rolls around until he gets refreshed lol ...
I ate some Colombian food today and it was GOOD but it did not agree with my stomach very well so that's a letdown =P
I was planning on going to see The Sentinel today but with the Rangers DVDs now in my greedy little hands I think that's out ..
I have also come to the realization that my room needs cleaning .. like big time major cleaning which would be so big time that my Mother would be shocked speechless if I were to indeed engage in such actions .... Will I do it? I should but will I ... My heart is in the right place now the matter is the mental toughness needed to get to the tasks at hand, I admit right now that when it comes to cleaning I am mentally weak =P
