My Head Aches ....
Good day at work today ... Sundays are usually REALLY busy and it was that way for a bit but for the most part it was a pretty easy going Sunday ... WooHoo ....
Today I got the Indiana Jones Trilogy =) SO Happy! I really loved that series, I still do. I think it has this subtle comedy and the action, adventure is great fun! However, seeing it just makes me REALLY hope that Harrison Ford doesn't do a Fourth Indy at this stage and IF he does that he has a son or something because I thought that the third Indy with Sean Connery as his Dad was the best as far as the comedy factor was concerned ...
Kitties are still adjusting to my Brother being home, Gordo even peaks out of my room to see if my brother is still here. I think that he thinks that he will just magically disappear. I just hope that he gets over his fear soon.
I bought these breakfast "Nature Valley Granola Bars : Banana Nut" because I tend to love anything with bananas in it ... not so much this stuff ... it doesn't taste like Banana Nut to me at all ... SO Disappointed since I still have 5 little bags with 10 bars left =P On the other hand I bought "Quarker Oatmeal to Go : Banana Bread" and that one tastes GREAT! YUM!
Well, it will be August in two days ... where has the year gone? On the bright side NHL Traning Camps open in September which means that hockey will be THAT much closer to being back! WOOT! ... God I hate Summer *I am such a brat*
Talking about Hockey ... it seems that 35 year old Jaromir Jagr has a *NEW* girlfriend ... a leggy 20 year old "blonde" girl who has the face of a 30 year old ... HERE she is ... the one on the right column ... I guess Jagr is fairly simple in his tastes, he likes blondes and will only seem to date ones from Eastern Europe .... The female population of the rest of the world mourns *snicker*
OH! I saw Miami Vice on Saturday. It was pretty good, but pretty convoluted ... I love Gong Li, however I feel that she is best when allowed to speak her own language since she has considerable trouble speaking English and unless it was someone else, her Spanish was WAY better than her English ... the problem with this was that sometimes I had trouble understanding what she was saying. The quiet moments in the film were good, but then when there was all the set up of ... well .. stuff ... trying to set up pick ups or drop offs or whatever deals to do with drugs and just, the words used and such had many people going "Huh?" The action was gritty and what I've come to expect from Michael Mann films ... I love his films ... my favorite being "The Last of the Mohicans" I ♥ that movie like no other, and it's soundtrack???????????? I just ADORE ♥ it!
