Ohmygodohmygodohmygod! You won't believe what kind of a day I've had, and it's not even ten in the morning!
I posted the next chapter of Not As Cool As Mine last night, which was long overdue. And guess who not only reviewed, but added me to their alert list?! idioticonion! Now this might sound odd, but she's the reason I joined the Horrible_fic community. I found her work on FF.N, and wanted more. So I read her profile, saw that she was on LJ, searched her name, and found HF. Wow, that sounded creepy stalker-ish. Anyway.
I admire the style, the twists, the character delving. There's just so much that I as a writer strive for in reading their work. So when idioticonion not only read my work, not only commented, but added me to their watch list AND gained inspiration from NACAM I just about died and went to heaven.
When your role model likes what you do, you know you've made it!
Don't think that I'm getting a big head! No, I know my ego's swelling, but I know I have a long way to go. I still have years of work to catch up to Jo. I miss reading her stuff, I haven't seen her all summer. Anyway. Thank you all for reading what I write. You have no idea what it means to me to be read. Even if you don't review, which I don't mind if you do or don't, the fact that my chapters get hits tells me that I'm getting better. Thank you all!
